At long last, a full decade after the building's outer shell was constructed, our tennis club's clubhouse is finished! Managment committee member Dave Hughes worked hard to coordinate with local company K&A to first have the floor levelled and then for the floor to be covered with a hard-wearing and durable surface.

 

The floor work was completed a couple of weeks ago, and the next task was the fitment of architraves around the doorframes to the toilet room and the cupboard at the back.  And club member and joiner Noel Kelly very kindly completed this work free of charge.

Finally a total of three coats of paint needed to be applied to the architraves and to the internal doors, and this was mostly completed by Club Junior Rep Tomos Edwards, who also worked without any payment.

So the clubhouse now provides a worthy environment to complement the playing facilities.  And don't forget that all adult members are very welcome to apply for a key to access the clubhouse - see details here.
